Another way to visit the Galapagos is through our program of daily visits with land accommodations. After your arrival in Baltra, continue with lunch and a visit to Santa Cruz highlands, where you will observe giant tortoises in their natural habitat; walk between Scalesia forests and explore the lava tunnels left by ancient eruptions of the volcano. The following days you can select among the options that we propose below. You can extend your trip with more days in Santa Cruz and/or visits to Isabela and San Cristobal Islands.

Excursions in boats for up to 16 passengers to Santa Cruz nearby Islands: North Seymour, Bartholomew, South Plaza, Santa Fe. We go on board in the morning and head to the island, where we will start our visit with a naturalist guide and return to the boat for lunch. In the afternoon there is time for snorkeling and then return to the boat to go back to port. We reach Puerto Ayora at approximately 5:30 pm. The itinerary may vary depending on the visited island.
In Santa Cruz and surroundings, we offer several options of dive sites. Our trips include a Divemaster guide for 8 passengers and a Divemaster Assistant. Each trip we carry up to 16 passengers and provide full diving equipment. Among the diving sites we have Floreana, Santa Fe, Gordon Rocks, North Seymour, Mosquera, Beagle, Daphne Minor, Bartholomew and Cousins. Some sites require advanced experience.

If you want to discover but not yet ready to make the leap to an open water scuba diving certification course or do not have the necessary time, Introduction to Diving will help you to discern if you like it. During this experience, you will learn how to use the equipment and get a quick and easy introduction to the exploration of the underwater world.
From beginners to advanced, we offer courses with PADI certification for: Open Water, Advanced Open Water, Emergency First Response, Rescue Diver, Divemaster and Nitrox. Our courses are taught and led by professional PADI instructors. Get your certification in one of the best diving destinations in the world: the Galapagos Islands. If you're a beginner you'll get your Scuba diving open water certification in 4 days.
You can go to Cerro Mesa in our vehicle or by mountain bike; the choice is up to you. From here you can view a crater formed by the collapse of an underground chamber and also enjoy magnificent views of the island and great part of the archipelago. The descent can be made by mountain bike to the starting point of the trail to Garrapatero Beach. In this beautiful beach you can optionally enjoy a kayak ride.
From “El Puntudo” Hill you will have a fascinating view of Santa Cruz Island and on a clear day you can see much of the archipelago. To climb this Hill you must walk for more than two hours through a beautiful recovered Miconia forest. When returning you can descend by bike from the edge of the National Park to the entrance trail to Garrapatero beach. A beautiful beach where you can enjoy swimming and kayaking.
Visit the Charles Darwin Research Station and the Galapagos National Park, where you'll observe the giant tortoises and other species recovery efforts. Walk through the town of Puerto Ayora with its excellent restaurants and artisan stores. In the afternoon take the trail to Tortuga Bay Beach, where you can practice snorkeling, surfing and kayaking (optional) and enjoy one of the most beautiful beaches in Galapagos.
Hikes through nature trails, on sand, dirt or volcanic rock. Snorkeling in waters which vary its temperature during the year between 16 and 26°C. Some hikes, such as El Puntudo, can be STRENUOUS and require good physical condition. Activities that involve scuba diving and mountain biking have a DEMANDING degree of difficulty but we can make modifications according to the capacity and preferences of the participants.
Located in a quiet neighborhood of Puerto Ayora, Mi Caleta Inn offers basic and clean accommodation in a family atmosphere that will make you feel at home. The owners will help you in everything you may need and will be responsible for all your scheduled activities to make sure you will have a great experience. Accommodations are in double, triple or quadruple rooms or a House for family occupation. Breakfast and dinner will be provided at nearby restaurants.

To travel to the Galapagos it is necessary to arrive before to Quito or Guayaquil, where local flights depart to the Islands.
